Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Contextyou agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the product.

2. Eligibility

Context is intended for businesses operating in New Zealand or Australia. You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind your business to a contract.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account, including any team members you invite. Keep your sign-in credentials secret. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised by emailing security@contextcontrol.app.

4. Subscription, billing and refunds

• The price of the subscription is shown when you sign up and is in NZD or AUD as stated
• Payments are processed by Stripe
• Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically
• You can cancel at any time through the product or the Stripe customer portal
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — we don’t refund partial months unless you ask and we agree

5. Acceptable use

Don’t do any of the following while using Context:

• Upload anything illegal, including content that infringes someone else’s rights
• Use the product to harass, threaten or deceive others
• Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or attempt to interfere with the service
• Resell access to the product or use it as a free document host for non-construction purposes

6. Your content

You own everything you upload. We only use it to operate the product, including:

• Storing it on our infrastructure
• Showing it to people you choose to share it with
• Including it in the Acknowledgment Report when generated
• Backing it up

We don’t use your content to train AI models. We don’t sell it. We don’t show it to anyone outside the recipients you choose.

7. Service availability

We aim for the product to be available 99.5% of the time, measured monthly. We don’t offer a formal SLA with credits during the early-access period. If the product is unavailable for an extended period we’ll tell you what’s happening.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Contextis limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can’t be excluded under New Zealand or Australian consumer law.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from content you upload or your use of the product in breach of these terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using the product and cancel your subscription at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms in a way that we believe causes harm to other users or to us, or for unpaid invoices. If we terminate without cause we will give you 30 days’ notice.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand, in Auckland.
